A yellow background with a dusty rose square in the middle that has a lighter yellow circle in it. The image in the circle is of three matches--the first unlit, the second on fire, and the third burned out. The text reads Flare Magazine in red and underneath in black featuring "Brain Fog" by Sally Sultzman Free to read now!

Brain Fog“–Sometimes, forgetting is a blessing.

I’m also pleased to announce that my short story “Somebody’s Gotta Shovel It” was chosen for the upcoming Disability in Dystopia Anthology, which will be out in May of this year! Stay tuned for more on that!

A dark green paper-textured background with text in neon green, cream, and white. The text is centre-aligned and reads "My story was accepted into the disability in dystopia anthology, coming may 2026" with the hashtag #CrippingDystopia in the bottom right corner. The word "dystopia" is placed in a postage stamp with a green mushroom cloud, and the disability pride flag waving out of the left hand side.
A yellow background with two graphics inset, both with a sunset background with the Chicago skyline outlined at the bottom and the words Spring Fling at the top. In the middle of the lef, "Publishing A to Z for Beginners!" is next to a picture of the author, a white woman with glasses in a black hat and a jean jacket framed in a maroon frame and labeled Sarah Anderson. The one on the right has the same photo of Sarah Anderson and also one of Liz Lincoln, a white woman with long reddish hair in a gray sweater and the text Consent Is Sexy! Underneath is the text Join me in Chicago at Spring Fling for these great presentations and more! April 16-18, 2026!

Finally, I’ll be at the Chicago North Romance Writers’ Spring Fling conference, giving presentations on Consent is Sexy! with my friend Liz Lincoln and also on Publishing A to Z for Beginners! Bring your questions, because we’re going to have a lot of fun!
