What a busy summer it’s been! In addition to working on my next novella and doing edits for charity auctions, I have two short stories out this month!
The first is “We Are All Strange Ones Here” over at Beneath Ceaseless Skies, which is my take on the fey and changelings. I don’t write a lot of fantasy, but when I do, it probably does involve the fey on some level? Yeah, that feels like a safe bet!
The second story is “Somebody’s Gotta Shovel It” in the Why Aren’t You Dead Yet? Anthology, which I’m so excited to be included in. The whole anthology is about–you guessed it–disability in the dystopia and what that might look like. Each story is wildly different and mine is certainly going to be the…most pungent one, no lie! But readers are really enjoying the hopecore (that’s a thing, right?) that I bring to the unbearable heat of global warming and how we might yet save our planet–and ourselves. I hope you check it out! All the buy links are here.
Stay tuned! There’s more in the works and I’m actively creating a bunch of fun projects for They Are All Her Children, which will be out in May, 2027–I can’t wait to share it all with you!
